RV Parks

Freedom and flexibility.

We know why you chose the RV life. The freedom to go where you want, when you want. The freedom to cook bacon and eggs over an open campfire or pack a quick lunch in your kitchen before hitting the trail for a hike. The flexibility to have your furry four-legged companion accompany you on your travels. The lifestyle afforded by Recreational Vehicles can be genuinely liberating from the stresses of everyday life, the costs associated with traditional vacations, and the need to leave all the comforts of home just to get out on the road.

The NC Triad offers plentiful opportunities to get your RV out on the road and experience some of the most breathtaking natural environments the United States has. Known as the Great Guide by the Jamokee tribe that once inhabited the region, the majestic Pilot Mountain rises over the Piedmont foothills. Greystone RV Park offers close-up views of the unique peak that serves as the namesake of Pilot Mountain State Park and offers pull-thru sites with concrete slabs, fully equipped with water, sewer, and electrical service up to 50 amps. Enjoy fishing at their stocked catch and release pond, but don’t feel cut off from the outside world as they offer free Wi-Fi internet access at all sites.

Nearby Hanging Rock State Park is home to the highest peak in the Sauratown Mountains, Moore’s Knob, which rises 2,579 feet above sea level and offers a view as far north as the Virginia border and as far south as Winston-Salem and beyond. You’ll be treated to vast panoramic vistas at these altitudes as a family of eagles soars off the iconic “hanging rock.” The park itself offers RV sites with pads and access to water and bath facilities.

Winners of the 2021 Campendium Camper’s Choice Award for “Best Place to Camp in North Carolina,” the Riverwalk RV Park in Jonesville has large pull-through sites with water and sewer hookups and up to 50-amp service. This boutique park brings upscale amenities next to the banks of the beautiful Yadkin River. Offering both riverfront and beachfront sites, use Riverwalk RV Park as your base camp to kayak or tube along the Yadkin with Jonesville Kayak and Tube Rentals, or set out across the Yadkin Valley to experience the dozens of world-class wineries in the region.

The NC Triad offers some of the most indisputable beauty our vast country has. Your RV means you get to see it all up close and personal.
