Parks & Playgrounds

Nothing could be more precious than the sound of a child’s laughter and the squeals of joy as they explore the countless playgrounds that populate the NC Triad.

Outdoor Play

Discover an endless selection of splash pads for little ones to cool off while they enjoy the outdoors.  In Dobson, the seat of Surry County, their brand new, state-of-the-art splash pad sits directly adjacent to covered picnic shelters, restrooms, and plentiful, well-kept playground equipment.  The slightly lower temperatures and humidity at the foot of the Sauratown Mountains are a bonus!

Greensboro City Parks, High Point City Parks, and Winston-Salem City Parks provide numerous splash pads and spray grounds.  Bur-Mil Park in Greensboro is a site of an aquatic playground attached directly to the public pool!

Oak Ridge Town Park offers multiple playground sites with picnic shelters, miles of walking track, ball fields, a dog park, and gazebos around a pond, providing enough activities for a full day of fun for the entire family.  Discover locations like the Lindley Park Playground in Greensboro, Fourth of July Park in Kernersville, Granville Park Playground In Winston-Salem.  Meanwhile, Burlington City Park has a fully functional train for your little ones to ride and a traditional carousel!
